We were running errands yesterday, and he wanted to go to Game Stop to buy Jak3. I told him, "we are not going today, but we will go tomorrow".
So, he returns with "when is tomorrow going to be here?".
I thought about it a few minutes and said, "Later, we will go home eat, take a bath, go to sleep, and wake up. When we wake up it will be tomorrow."
He seem to understand, and it all sounded pretty simple.
Until, yesterday's tomorrow became today.
So, today, we were talking about what we are going to do this weekend. I was telling my son that it is "race weekend" and we will be going to watch dad race tomorrow.
My son gets all excited and is ready to go,
"let's go mom, let's go." I tell him, "baby not right now, TOMORROW we go racing."
He get this confused looked on his face, pauses for a moment, and then said,
"But mom, remember what you said yesterday? Today IS tomorrow!"
Sigh.

Awww. :) So true and so hard to understand.... But makes you take a look and see that today is our tomorrow and we should take advantage of every moment. They fly so fast and you never get them back.
I write and maintain a spiritual blog which I have titled “AccordingtotheBook” and I’d like to invite you to follow it.
